Reads and Thoughts

Ola! I'm one of those crazy girls who is overly addictive to books and reading. I'm weird around books and tends to read them abnormally fast. And I'm a hopeful romantic who is a firm believer of Happily Ever Afters.
My Everything (Beaumont, #1.5) - Heidi McLaughlin Honest to goodness, I’m not really a fan of Nick in Forever My Girl. I didn’t even really care for his character during that time because I know he’ll soon leave the picture perfect life of Liam and Josie. I just have this feeling of unease with him while reading Forever My Girl plus I think he came off really as a very serious and aloof character their.

My Everything is Nick’s story.
He left Josie and Noah and travel to Africa to do a volunteer work.
Where he find what he thought he found with Josie in Beaumont.

This story opens me up to the different sides of Nick – the side where I saw how truly dedicated and how he did enjoy his job, all his patience and aches with Josie (after proposing to her several times and being rejected each and every time) and of course his love not only for Josie but greatly for Noah. Guilt was eating him up knowing he left Noah without even saying goodbye and by reading this I feel his utmost remorse and strive to do his best to show Noah how sorry he is.

He met Aubrey in Africa as his co-worker. Hmm. I’m happy that Nick did find his own happiness here but I think a more detailed recap on how this relationship grows would be very sufficient for me as a reader. Their relationship seems to pass by my eye instantly without knowing what really happened between their first date up to them being married – there’s like this huge gap between it.(maybe the author is planning another novella for Nick – we’ll never know. :D )

In the end I realized that Nick wasn’t really a bad guy at all. He’s just a guy stucked in a crazy situation wherein no matter where you look he’ll always be the bad guy. One quick read that would surely make a huge impact for the supporters of this series.
