Reads and Thoughts

Ola! I'm one of those crazy girls who is overly addictive to books and reading. I'm weird around books and tends to read them abnormally fast. And I'm a hopeful romantic who is a firm believer of Happily Ever Afters.
Coffee and Cockpits - Jade Hart It's always hard to write a review without giving away too much about the story especially if the story seems to be limited and even a single detail mention could be a big giveaway for the people who haven’t read it yet. That's the situation I'm in while writing a review for Coffee and Cockpits. So I'll just take it this way

----

Pre-crash: This is Nina Poppins' first flight as a flight attendant and this is like a dream come true for co-pilot Liam Mikin for he has an undercover crush on Nina. But Nina and Liam's getting together didn’t take long...

Post-crash: The plane they’re both riding on crash on a Samoan Island; A paradise Island where they could all take a mini-vacation since the company place wouldn’t be able to send another plane for another week. It was time for Liam to make his movie and for Nina to know what Liam knows about her.

Reality: The reality at its finest. ;)

I never did underestimate the power of mind and body especially when it seems like they go at the same place once. This story makes my belief on that firmer. Coffee and Cockpits is not a simple story about flight attendants being all pretty and tall and travelling or stories about pilots with their so-called womanizing ways, it’s also not about the typical love story that starts so slow and finally ends up together after the anticipated big fight around the end. There was more to it. I honestly felt the sincerity, love, heartbreak and hope about everything that happened on this book.

The writing was so believable and very much easy to dive into. The story was just so good and unique. I was really amazed by the cleverness of the writer as to how she came up with a plot like this. If you've watched the movie THE PASSENGERS with Anne Hathaway as the lead actress, the story of this somehow reminds me of that.

When I pick up this book, I was expecting another cheesy new-adult, romantic kind of story but the author Jade Hart surprised me with her extreme and breathtaking and movie like twist. A warm round of applause and I hope to read more of her works.

Awesome story!
