"Otherwise I'll fall apart. I'm going to fall Apart. I am falling apart."
-Lochan Forbidden is about a brother and sister (Lochan and Maya) who, mostly due to their circumstances, fall in love with each other. And as their feelings for each other solidify, they grow more desperate to spend time together. They know it is wrong. They know it is illegal. They know it would tear their family apart if their affair were revealed. They know something else, too. They know they can’t stop.
This book was a hard pill to swallow. It was full of emotions that as you go further in reading it, these emotions will start to envelope you. It was a pretty intense read and the concept is one of a kind. The writing was fantastic because the reader was given enough informations about the characters and because of that you can thoroughly imagine what is exactly happening in their. At sometimes, this book also breaks my heart. There were parts wherein you could feel a sudden
sting on your heartstrings and a heavy hearthache that would clue you in that something is going to happen. It gives an idea about unconditional love and companionship.
Heart-Breaking! I don't know if I have anymore words to describe this book other than that.
In the end i felt emotionally drained about this for i find myself crying on the last chapters. full tears and snot. Haha!
And as i've read on other reviews, this is the kind of book that sticks with you for awhile and also the kind that you find yourself thinking about at random times.
