Basically, it starts when Leah went outside her house and saw a man lying face front in front of her neighbor's house, that very neighbor that seems to be a huge mystery for her. That very death event lead them to finally meet each other and has been the beginning of many changes…
I loved the different lives presented by the characters not only of the two main characters Leah and Toby, but also Toby’s tenants are introduced as well and woven into the story. They have their own chapters so we can get to know them as well. Their presence adds to the story making it more interesting and enjoyable and will surely tickle your curiosity about their backgrounds. Though the flow of the story is so slow so it tends to get a bit boring. Its a great chic-lit but in a different way for it does not only focuses on the
love or romantic parts of the story. It mainly focuses on the individual lives of the characters and how they affect each other.
I found this to be a thoroughly enjoyable but a little bit boring. It is engaging, humorous and can really hold your attention. Very well written and dealt with. Though it has an unusual plot, i liked it because it has a happy ending. ♥ :)
